i don't suppose you know where to acquire a true English war bow, that is one made of a single stave of yew none of this laminate crap. Right now i shoot an Norse long bow which is a solid stave of ash with a draw of 75lb but i want to get a yew bow above 100 ! but don't seem to be able to find one for under £750.
any help on the matter would be appreciated, Thanks.

lol :-) it would have been excellent if mike was on that jingle bows vid last christmas
mike's' been shooting since he was a lad,he did a phd on toxophilus (so ive been lead to believe) during his higher education. and was a teacher for many years and has been a keen toxophilite throughout. :-)
