  • awesome ad!!!

    i dont have a turbo s but a sport edition v5

    same look different engine

love both, v5 sounds much better though

  • Ah yes! The V5 is an amazing and very interesting engine. Very cool!

  • @SheerHippo What the hell is a V5?

  • @PantstofryPWNZ In some places, they didn't have the Turbo S with the 1.8T like everyone else did. They had a special version called the V5 Sport Edition, which was pretty much the same as the Turbo S except for the motor. It was essentially a VR6 with a cylinder lopped off. Pretty sweet.

  • @SheerHippo I've heard of an I5, but never a V5.... I didn't think it was possible to have an uneven number of cylinders in a V engine. Cool!

  • @PantstofryPWNZ Volkswagen's VR engines are narrow angle (15 degrees between banks) and staggered. They only need one head for both cylinder banks and are much more like an inline engine than a traditional V.

  • my mom just got one cuz she loves bugs, and the turbo s is by far the best :D

we went 90 on the freeway and it didnt even feel like it lol

  • yep the sound of it is great and it's a very strong/resistant engine, no issue with it, always goes perfectly fine.

and no need to change the belt!! cause it's a chain!! :)

i will always love this engine, especially inside the beetle!

    take care mate!!
