Scifi channel changed their name to syfy because many of the programs they run are not considered science fiction by many science fiction buffs so they wanted to keep same name but not be criticized for it.

@Vandale2006 American Werewolf in london might be in section titled fiction or fiction based on popular myths. Science Fiction has to do with Science so if say Werewolf has some type of scientific basis such as a mutant strain of rabies or Genetic cross breed of human and wolf could possibly fall under science fiction. Generally speaking stories about werewolves is not considered science fiction. Science Fiction means fiction stories about science generally how science will affect the future.

1:39 why? doom sucked. It was a horrible knock off of a video game franchise with s horrible story.

2:33 Why avp? another movie that disrespected its predecessor by giving a false past to the alien species and scrapping the entire back-story of the original alien film. On top of that, the plot sucked, and was extremely original. the only enjoyable part is watching the characters (which i have no emotional tie to) die.
