  • Early cultures looked the natural world around them for a faith in the existence of a future, the sun coming up and going down, the tides returning to the shore, the, the Earth that knows the rains come tomorrow and patiently awaits for the life giving gift of water from the heavens above. Look at nature and you will see that is no dichotomy between science, religion and nature. The derision between the two are caused by two man made entities, church and state, that both want to control people.

  • So what is the real difference here? Does it matter who or what you die for, the results are the same. Do you really think that in the beginning or at the end of time and physical existence there was really any difference other than in names and point of view between the two? How many times have we already proven this to be true. Rene DesCarte tried to disprove the existence of one by disproving the existence of the other. (see part 3 of comments) thanks

  • It is not that science has replaced religion or that religion poses any less valid answers than the hypotheses and theories of science. Science is telling us that we have damaged the planet to the point that soon it will be unable to support the life it spawned. Religion tells us that humanity has polluted its collective soul to the point that God is returning soon to end the continual sin and corruption of his creations. ( See part 2 of this comment. Thanks

  • Visually integrated; very 1950's PSA. Did not know Einstein was abused by religious group for his science. Living in an urban environment doesn't necessarally mean that humans lose touch with spiritual energy of nature. Every wild animal the makes a home with debris or in abandonded edificies, every plant that forces it way through mutated ground is making a statement that life is ever in abundance and working. Science or religion

are only natural tools or weapons in the hands

    of humans.

  • The world as we know it is dying! Nature is missing from the concrete and asphalt of our world! The desire to find more answers is destroying our world. The Bible tells us that God created the world in 7 days. We have been slowly destroying that world with greed. Religion unites people with the same beliefs and asks us to care for the world God created. As for war, it has been around since the beginning of time. Anytime 2 people disagree, it is a potential danger!

  • Wow realy gives you something to think about.

  • The video brings to light a lot of things that people tend to not think about in regards to Religion and War. Spirituality vs Science. It kept me focused and watching the entire length of the production, the frame rate ran smoothly as did the music changes went perfectly with the images they showed. Nicely done. It really does make you wonder how many people have died for things that they have been taught in church. It will be interesting to see responses and the debate that is sure to ensue.

  • Thought provoking and emotion stirring as always. As a social commentary, this speaks to us as a people needing to open our eyes beyond just today and the immediate future. Human intelligence constantly evolves and grows giving way to greater understanding. Our spirituality and science evolve hand in hand. Physics proves metaphysics. Metaphysics evolves as we comprehend more of our world. It is only fear of the unknown that holds us back.

  • things to think about, regarding your thesis. Republic Vs Theocracy.

Does knowledge replace superstition or is it just progress?

Art has always been inspired by religion, regardless of the faith of the artist.

And i totally agree, more people have gone to thier deaths in the name of god than for any other un-natural reason. (good point)

The fear of god always hinders progress, unless you are say, the UAE, then Oil trumps that.

great vid my friend. i have more to say at a later date.
