Hey (that's a southern thing) Radio sounds great! The audio quality was superior and I can hear why you use it. I make a little one transistor transmitter that would simultaneously broadcast AM&FM&TV&More by tuning it through the band for the receiver device you wanted to use. The quality was pretty good for such a wide spectrum. The only thing is that I know I have one in the house somewhere and it could take me a year to find it. Future project.
Great portable radio. I've got one - but it's model number is 7-2850D. Bought it new, long ago.

I HAVE THAT RADIO! Bought it new in 1985.
(Still works great, too.) Love those D-cells.
I also have the later version from 1991.
