@woodcw2 Right. The smaller the community the more people care for each other. Thats why there shouldn't be big accumulations of people living together. That makes things worse (Hopi philosophy).

As a generational Vermonter this is the worst flooding I have ever seen,my grand parents lived through the 1927 flood.Since 1745 my family has lived off the land here ,We lost our barn but saved our cows and calfs.We also lost all our feed corn to the flood.I'll tell you one thing I have always felt blessed to live here,and I have never felt as proud of our little state as I do now.Some other farms have taken my cows .We Vermonters take care of each other,never did need the goverment. GB VT.
