Garry's Mod 10 - Stargate Fort v2 (outdated)

This is a new version of our Stargate Fort, which received quite a lot views here on YouTube. Thank you for watching.

This time, I spent most of the time with improving the optical appearance of the fort itself.

The iris now works with iris codes, just the same way as in my "Stargate GDO" video. The dialing gate sends the iris code to the gate which is being dialed and the iris will automatically open. Just like on the TV show, this only works with an active wormhole.

The siren sound you hear starts on incoming wormholes and plays as long as the iris is still closed. This uses the sound emitter of the wire mod.

The sound is a bit out of sync again. Fraps almost always has this problem on my system. If you know how to fix it, please tell me.

The TV screens you see in the video are render target screens from "PhoeniX-Storms Model Pack" (a.k.a. PHX) which also includes the walls used to build the fort. The screens simply show what's filmed by the render target camera.

Notice: This video is old. The stuff you see here has either been replaced with new stuff or does no longer work. Please stop writing comments about it.

That's not possible, you can't have two Stargates working on the same planet at the same time, and you definately couldn't dial from the other at the same planet to the other! :D
