Fuck russia

envy russians , hahaha

@hzcenick Anyway the point is that the Soviet union while being a dictatorship still proclaimed multinationality. When Moldova gained independence, Popular Front was quite openly nationalistic. That was the cause of Transnistria and Gagauzia declaring independence from Moldova, not Russia's foul play. And I would imagine Russia's intervention was one of the main reasons etnic minorities don't feel repressed in today's Moldova.
-
@hzcenick how familiar are you with Smirnov's dictatorship? I for example am not familiar with it at all, and the censorship there must be worse than in China, since I never even heard of Transnistrians speaking of his dictatorship.
-
And by the way, Russia recognized Moldova the way it was with Transnistria included. And it's not an ethnic conflict as it may be in Kosovo or Ossetia, there are more Ukrainians there than Russians, and more Moldavians than Russians and Ukrainians summed up.
And Moldaians are too damn peaceful to be a threat to anyone, these people and country have never declared war on somebody else, in their entire history all they did was to defend themselves. They are harmless.
-
@deux2k well, Gagauzia for example is an autonomy, and they speak Russian there and nobody accuses them of that. Many people from Gagauzia don't even understand the official language and everyone is OK with that. The difference is with Transnistria, where Russia keeps its army and does not want to retreat it. Her tanks were involved in the '90s conflict. There are videos about that.
And Smirnov, its leader from the 90s is a KGB agent, they have dictatorship there since then, how good is that?
-
In 1990 transnistria and gagauzia declared independence from Moldova. Must've been Russia's play too I gather. The conflict started when nationalists started attacking transnistrians and the police and the National Front turned a blind eye as far as I know.
About Stefan - you're right. Don't know how I came to believe that.
-
@deux2k are you crazy or something? Stefan the Great did not want to unite Moldova with Russia. What the hell are you talking about? His daughter was persecuted by the Russian Tsar.
In Transnistria, in the early '90s - 60 to 70% of the locals there were Moldovans. Russia always plays by double standards : she recognized our independence, but at the same time left her 14th Army in Transnistria. The conflict started when separatists attacked and arrested Moldavian police officers.

_Такого_ нет. Хорошо подмечено.

Yeah, yeah. Nothing happened to them and as Moldova gained its independence suddenly Russia - the country that gave Moldova independence in the first place - decides to attack it. Sorry, mate, but you're the one who should get your facts straight. Also, Russians are locals too. Have been ever since Stefan the Great decided to unite Moldova with Russia. Go read wikipedia, enlighten yourself.
@Alexvelikii1 Сам ты дерьмовый и вся твоя страна дерьмовая. Налицо доказательство - чем дальше от России, тем лучше живется.
Georgia - Moldova вам завидует.
