The Proper way walking a Dog, and I don't care if anyone does not agree with being the dominant alpha over your dog, I am Alpha over mine and NO PROBLEMS! I have none with her. I train locally around my area. Everyone fear the Rottweiler and as long as You are in control the dog wont even try to bite someone. Sheba knows any Aggression, Dominance or obsessiveness is not allowed in this pack. Sheba is my Big girl, Most of my clients are small dogs... The breeds looked at as bad are Rottweilers, pit bulls, Akita, German Shepherds and sometimes labs! WHICH goes to show you it is NOT the breeds it is in fact the handler behind them. Most people let their dogs have whatever they want when they want it. Sheba does not. She works for everything. and She doesn't jump on new people or lung at other peoples dogs or other people. she is a Stable submissive dog in my hands. However she is in Shutzund and would protect me as a last resort that would be ONLY IF I was in danger and that's a fat chance of that here in my town lol. meaning not gonna happen. ( I felt bad for the 8 year old mixed medium dog that barked at us... he had HIGH energy, also possible frustration and was barking and pacing as we walked by, He was only walked twice and his handler lets him walk ahead...

  • i give you much respects

  • @r8dergirl01 u can teach ur dog at any age to walk good on a leash its jus harder cuz they are WAY stronger as their older i taught my dog at 8months he was really strong but what i did is when he started to pull i turned and walked the other way so now hes confused he doesnt kno where im going and eventually he wont pull anymore he jus follows behind having them walk good is very important because it shows them their place in the pack i did by myself im only 15

Play with you dog. He's just a LITTLE puppy. When he's older the real training begins. Now it should be a fair mix of playing and training.

You can try to teach him how to come beside you.

He is young and cant do too long exercises. Just keep a short leash and gently correct by pulling when he is pulling away. There is as many methods as there is teachers. And remember to do only short exercises. And remember "free"-command or something to let the dog go on its own.

  • does anyone know how to get them to walk like that. I have a 10 wk old puppy and he tries to pull and go his own way and i would love to have him walk like that. Does anyone have any advice?

  • proves its bad owners not the breed nice work

  • im not allowed to walk my rott anymore becuse she pulled me down and cracked my ellbow and 2 months of my summer was in a sling to hold my arm up, and she was only not even 1 she is big and hurtfull, so it looks like u have ur dog under controll

  • How did you train him to stay beside you and not pull ahead?
