  • Thanks for the videos about living in Japan. Very interesting to hear it from someone who is really living and working there, instead of gaining information through tv shows etc.

    Greetings from Germany

  • @niczwerg thank you for the comment.

Yes, and remember - anything on TV is payed for and is therefore biased and will have an agenda..

My 'Agenda' - Sharing the real Japan :-)

    Peace

  • i think its because u live in tokyo and i've heard tokyo is one of the most expensive cities to live in in the world. Australia dont have alot of those to pay; i think it's alot cheaper. also in australia, it depends on where u live; for instance if u live in rocky; its alot cheaper than living in brisbane or melbourne even worse sydney. I was in sydney just a few days ago, and alot of ppl i knw have moved to live like over an hour out of the city and in shitty surburbs because of high rent.

  • @mykeman83 yeah that's true.. but I live just outside of Tokyo and the rent is half the price. Also, I've moved around Aus a fair bit and ran a business there. Melbourne is ridiculously expensive - even just to go out and get a cup a coffee.... But yeah, I took my little one home exactly 12months ago for a little while and went to Woolworths.. man that was a joke! I saw reports that food prices had gone up 30% since the last time I'd been home and it was true. Here, it's not that bad yet..

  • Great vid Luke..

Constantly having strong thoughts about moving to Japan... Looks like the smarter idea to have kids here first and think about moving later if thats the case.

I'd love to do 1 year working holiday there sooner then later though.. but again, very big decision! May or may not see you soon. haha

  • HAHAHAHA! I used to teach English in China. The Chinese teachers tried to teach ME how to speak English too!

  • This is excellent Luke...Thanks...
