Weird alien bug in my backyard

Can you help identify this bug? It looks so strange, almost like an E.T. It was in my backyard summer 2006. DONT TOUCH IT!!!!!!!!!! is a saddleback caterpillar . it is posinous and their stings hurt. if you get stung, take scotch tape to remove the hairs.

Its not an alien, its a type of caterpillar. Just so you know. I dont know exactly what species but its probably related to the Euclea Delphini.

It's called a saddleback caterpillar. Don't worry, it's not an alien and those "tentacles" are poisonous spines. -_-
