McCain Commits to attend UN Climate Meetings in Poland

UPDATE: Adviser says McCain won't go.

We wanted to be absolutely sure that McCain meant what he said, so we went to his top advisor, Doug Holtz-Eakin, for an official statement. He said,

"As president elect, demands on his time would be enormous and out of necessity he would send a team to the talks."

Too busy? A one-day visit to Poland can profoundly influence how the rest of the world views the U.S. In one day, the new U.S. President can show we're serious about stopping climate change and working constructively with our fellow countries.

We think that's a day well spent. And so do 40,000 others!
