  • Val Kilmer so stole the whole show !! You can say he, upstaged Kurt Russell!!! Big time!! A lot of folks think that Heathe Ledger was the best in The Dark Knight? Or Anthony Hopkins in "Silence of the Lambs"? I say Val Kilmer played Doc Holliday better than any other actor has portrayed a character !! Again , Tombstone was about The Earp Brothers!!! But Doc Stole the show !!

  • Wink did it then Holiday finished him off bang bang bang.

  • "You don't have to worry about a thing, I just went over there and disarmed them," he sounds like a two bit DC politician

  • @GojuBob: it's set up earlier in the film, when Billy has his run-in with Doc ("And you -- music lover"). Billy's the youngest and most impetuous of the group, so he gets mad remembering the indignity of the earlier standoff. Wyatt sees that and realises it's going to go ugly, and Billy goes for his gun. Doc's also is played up as "Death" throughout the film, so it could be some sort of comment on how when you're young you don't think about death, and get angry when it comes for you?

  • @GojuBob It seemed to me that they interpreted Doc's wink as a way of saying that the Earps were going to kill them all anyhow, not disarm them. So they fired first. But that's just me.

  • I can't figure out why Doc's wink is what kicks it all off. Any ideas?

  • Guys, whoever was wondering, that two barrel shotgun still only shot twice: once in the air and once into that Cowboy. The third supposed shot is just another angle of the same unfortunate man maybe for dramatic effect or just poor editing.

  • @Lawman117 More likely he just had the guts because he was dying of tuberculosis anyways, i would have been fearless too if i was dying anyways

  • 3:07 -- goddamn kill-stealer! :)

  • Jesus doc was hit in the fight also i'm just going to say that, he was hit through his holster and in the hip, also he only had the one nickle plated gun, which had only six shots and billy was only hit 2-3 times, and did not die right a way, Ike never fired at them he fled straight away and didn't stop, frank was the one they were all aiming for becasue he was the known gun-hand, he was supposed to fall back and sit by a window and shoot doc in the hip before wyatt and Morgan ventilated him.
