Game Rental Theater - Ape Escape 3

Episode 9 is here, and it took me a longer time to edit than the usual. Stupid Windows Movie Maker crashing -_-

Anyway, this segment goes through Ape Escape 3, an instalment in another PS-based adventure series that I've grown fond of over the years. I actually have the previous two titles (got them both as birthday presents in 1999 and 2003 respectively) and I thought that the feel was set in stone after Ape Escape 2 - seemed cute enough, but the edginess of the previous title seemed to have dwindled and could indeed affect the gameplay. It did in the end by offering what I feel is an easier gameplay experience than the previous two titles, but it still seems cool enough to keep going with.

In this video, I go through the Hide-and-Seek Forest stage and White Monkey (Monkey White in America) battle playing as Sayaka (Yumi in America). Since then I actually grew used to the Morphwatch, hence why the battle seemed to drag on o.O

Ape Escape is one of my favorite series of all time. I've recently been playing a lot of it and mainly Ape Escape 3. I

f you own this game now, could you upload some gameplay of it? There's a difference in voice acting from North America and European. Also, the names were changed from Satoru and Sayaka to Kei and Yumi for the Japan to America port, then back to Satoru and Sayaka for the European port.

I also prefer Yumi over Kei because she can stun monkeys that are fans of hers by walking by.

Well, I don't currently own it but I've been meaning to for a while now, clearly one of my fave PS2 games for my GRT run :D

Odds are I'll order it from Amazon at the end of the week, and when I do have it, I'd rather go all the way and do a full playthrough. Been meaning to do one for quite some time.

Well if you did I full Playthrough, I could do the American part and you could do the European English part to show the audience differences between the two versions

One thing that's really cool about playing as the female character is that some monkeys join your fan club and when they see you, they get dazed with hearts. It hilarious! XD
