(1996) KRANK "UNDER MY WHEELS". Philly's original "Masters of Mayhem" doing the Alice Cooper classic, "Under My Wheels". We shot this video in one day (May 11, 1996) At this point in their history, KRANK was Frank Tyson (vocals) Kevin Mercer (bass) , Scott Forte (drums) and Bryan Kelley & Tony Tomasello (guitars). These guys were the real deal. All of the theatrics, the hotrod car, the blood spitting, the fire breathing, the guitar spinning....they were totally committed to being a larger than life rock band. They were great to work with and I enjoyed making this video.
It was edited tape-to-tape with two Panasonic AG-6500 decks and a WJ-AVE7 mixer.
Simple production, but I think we captured the vibe of the band and what they were all about. As a bonus, I have included extra footage of Frank breathing fire. (Do NOT try this at home, kids!)
The history of the band, as well as their 2003 cd "UGLY GIFT", can be found at: cdbaby.com/cd/krankrocks

Yep. These guys were the real deal. No band wagon jumping or sweater wearing here. They stayed true to what they were doing....as you can see in the video.
