I reaaaaally like this band
They have so much fun playing their music. Something a lot of bands have forgotten to do.

if you have two drummers, why not use that to your advantage and create really cool rhythmic patterns and do cool drum stuff as opposed to having both drummers do basically the same thing (im also talking to you Arcade Fire) dont take on two drummers if you arent going to use them (though i do love this song so much)

wheres ninja? anyway its damn awesome

One thing that bothers me is why they changed the music scale down a notch... The original was Bb, this is B scale. Is it easier to perform that way?
-
@megathom yeah - it'd be a bit of an expense to lay on just for this one song.

@theadamlevy have you heard of phil spector's "wall of sound". It this recording idea where he layered up lots and lots of the same instruments till it sounded like a - you guessed it - "wall of sound". Here it's the same kind of principle, the two sets of drums playing (basically) the same thing builds into the bands anthemic style/feel.
I think it's pretty smart.

@theadamlevy But why not?
-
i can respect that

@theadamlevy because they are awesome...

two drummers?
but why?

The Go! Team: a band that can get away with having three guitarists, two drummers, and no vocalist half the time.

Yeah, not seeing any brass section got me bummed. It would have been nice instead of say, two sets of drummers.
