Love this song, haven't lost my pap yet, but he has been here for me many of times, his mind is slowly starting to go with short term memory, hopefully its many years before hes gone. He turned 70 last month. I heard this song at a college party and it touched me dearly. Ill be 20 this December and if I can have one wish, it will be to keep my pap alive long enough to see with kids. He and my dad are my role models, but living with my grandparents I really appreciate them and dread the day......

i really love this song cuz i lost my gran dad 2 years ago an my brother a few months ago never fired them just take them out from time to time to oil them an they will half to put me in the ground before any one get them guns o one last thing for those 14 dislikers i think u all should be FUCKING HUNG

@chewb18 those pricks dont know how it feels at all!! im only 15 and everytime my dad opens up the safe i always see that ol 30-30 of my pawpaws. i finally took it huntin and got 3 deer with it. and it was for my pawpaw. im waiting on my dad to walk up to me and hand me pawpaws old 12 that will never be shot!! everytime i go huntin or i pick up a gun i think of my pawpaw. and remember what he always told me.

Love the guns and all, But I'd rather have my Papaw in stead of his guns.
