Nixin Confronts Hollywood Liberals

O.K. so it is now March 2009 and by most accounts victory has been achieved in Iraq, yet for some reason Left wing groups continue to protest the war as if they have been living in a cave for the last few years. Now I realize that Liberals are notorious about being uninformed on world events and their only source of news is either the Daily Show or far left blogs, but I am still blown away on how dumb and brainwashed some of these people are! I mean seriously I saw several people at this latest protest with anti Bush signs, I walked up to them and said "I am totally not trying to be a smart ass, but are you guys aware that George Bush is no longer President?" They seemed to not be aware of the facts that almost all of the 18 provinces of Iraq (including the green zone) are now under full Iraqi control, or that we have already begun the withdrawal of all U.S. combat troops. I have always thought it is interesting how these groups are selective on what wars they protest, for instance they marched in the streets protesting the NATO mission in Afghanistan but none of these left wing protesters seemed to get upset when the U.S.S.R invaded that same country in the 1980's, why the different reactions? because the Soviet Union was a Socialist State and shares the ideals of these Left Wing groups, in fact you see a huge inconsistency in when and were they protest. They will usually take to the streets to protest a war if that war is against a Socialist/Communist foe such as North Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba, and even Baathist Iraq, this is why there was not nearly as big of a protest over the invasion of Afghanistan as there was over Iraq, and why there was no protest at all over the U.S. military actions in Bosnia and Somalia, do you see a pattern? Anyway I decided to go down to this recent protest armed with some photographs of the attempted genocide that was committed by Saddam Hussein, by showing them these pictures I was trying to make them see the connection that by being against us taking him out of power they were indirectly supporting his acts of mass murder. When you watch my footage of the protest you will see that at first these protesters assume the pictures that they are looking at must be a result of American aggression. They hate their country so much that they think any evil act committed in the world must have been by the hand of the United States. When I tell them the truth and they realize that their initial assumptions are wrong than they either try to change the subject (to some other wrong doing perpetrated by the U.S.) or get irate in an attempt to provoke me into doing the same and then successfully getting off the subject matter. I almost always attend these protests alone and I do not represent anyone else's agenda besides my own, and I always find it fascinating that I am surrounded by hundreds or thousands of people who oppose me. Even with all of them putting their head's together they have yet to really come up with rational answers to my questions. I am a simple college dropout who has not been taught by any person or group and am going against organizations who have been doing these type of things for decades. I find myself debating college professors and well trained activists yet in my opinion I always win the argument. This only tells me one thing, and that is that my side (not me) is right and all of those people who I am arguing with are wrong! -NixiN

Dude, as much as I love to see extremists on both sides get exposed, your logic is severely flawed. Since when is America the world's police? You're going on and on about the atrocities of Saddam and yet genocide has been going on in Africa for decades and we haven't lifted a finger there. I don't agree with the protesters' views, however I don't agree with yours either. Everything you're talking about were not the reasons given for us going after Saddam.

lol yea i agree. Anytime I see someone wearing a Che Guevera shirt, I just laugh. If I get the oppurtunity to talk to them, I'll ask "so you agree with Che Guevera?" they reply yes..."Then I'll ask, So you're racist and hate blacks?" and they freak out asking how I would ever think of them like that and what an idiot I am.
