Praise the Lord! But which one? Thanks to Acharya S for the use of her material. Acharya S is a scholar classically educated in archaeology, history, mythology and languages. Acharya specializes in religion and mythology, critiquing and comparing them, and providing unique insights into their origins. Although born into a Christian (Congregationalist Protestant) family, Acharya does not subscribe to any particular religion, nor is she a hardcore "atheist."
Acharya is the author of the controversial books "The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold"; "Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled"; "Who Was Jesus? YET ANOTHER "real meaning" video that completely fucking ignores the Germanic Heathen origin of the holiday and its traditions. You go into all this other shit that had nothing to do with the western Germanic world, while ignoring the history of the people who brought about the holiday to begin with. This video's about as useless as the Bible is.

Fantastic representation of the true solstice story. It was the subject of my blog yesterday. The origins of Judaism and Christianity took fifteen years of my own unbiased research. The links with the original belief in Aten, is clearly seen in so many ways from the ritual clothing worn by rabbis to the depiction of the Celtic sun god Lugh. The pagan takeover became The Greatest Lie Ever Told.

So opinion divides into two camps: 'Jesus was a real person' and 'Jesus was a myth'. However, there is a third option that I think is more likely, i.e. The supernatural Jesus of modern day Christianity is a myth, BUT Jesus may have been a Jewish teacher of gnostic wisdom whose religion was adopted by the Greeks and most notably the Romans, who over time, probably with no guiding intent, added in all the pre-existent pagan supernatural attributes to create what we know today as Christianity.

Well this is it. Where is the credible evidence for the Jesus who MAY have been a Jewish teacher? Why did he not write or have someone write anything down? Why did none of the 40 or so writers/historians living during his time and geographical area never mention such a 'Jewish teacher'? Why was his story not reported until the 2nd century? Until such evidence comes to light, all is speculation. Jesus is a myth until proven otherwise. Burden of proof lies with 'the faithful'.
