John B. Simpson's Fourth Annual Community Address

Excerpts from the fourth annual community address of University at Buffalo President John B. Simpson in which he called on New York State to create and fund a coherent higher education policy and the Western New York community to continue its financial, political and moral support for UB and its strategic plan, UB 2020. Noting that UB and the region are at a crossroads, he called UB 2020 the path to a bright future for the region and the road to choose over the path of doing business as usual. The address was delivered on Sept. 23, 2009 in Asbury Hall, Buffalo, NY.
