IN 2011 THIS MACHINE IS STILL A BEAST.
2X 9800M GTX SLI MAKES IT A NOTEBOOK WITH CLASS 1 GRAPHIC CARD THAT WIPES THE FLOOR WITH OTHER MACHINES FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE *BUYING USED OFF EBAY.

Erm SLI performance is taking alot more of your powersupply and prossersors performance, 1 graph card wich is just as good as two if prefferable !

A smaller memory bank means it can cache less textures at a time which means performance will be affected. Nice try at being half-intelligent.

Man, thats a dumb statement. The memory on a graphics card are to cache textures, nothing to do with performance.
