Hi there, how does this pedal fare with a bass guitar?

Is the DI output also tube driven?

Can I use this pedal (or any of these distortions) direct to a tube amp (not to the effects loop of the amp) ? I have to do so in order to operate my Guitar synth and have a distorted sound at the same time. .

this is a demo realized foy a company that works in professional sound enginering with a staff of pros and musicians ¿right? well, ¿why then, anybody can tell to this guy: "hey man! while you're talking set your amp in bypass or, roll all way down the volume pot of your guitar"? there's a lot of noise coming from the amp.. are pros or anybody can figure this?

I was not aware of the clapton "women tone" Maybe that is where they got the name but the replay I got was not what I had expected. If one of you pedals is called the Demonizer how do you say that the name of the product doesn't count. I thought that the reply was silly but I understand that was his point of view. What do you think?

@MegaGforce5 my guess is that its something to do with the Clapton "woman" tone, because it gives a similar sound to classic tube amp distortion... also, saying someone is a womanizer means they ATTRACT women, and isn't that the goal of all guitarists? XD

@MegaGforce5 thats good because any guy who chooses a pedal based on its name and not its sound is another guitarist who doesn't deserve a decent pedal. Boss...everything rock was against, work, being told what to do and the pedals name is...boss.... and yet they are the most popular because they generally make decent pedals (not always) a good pedal is a good pedal, names are nothing, if anything the cooler the name the more i suspect it

guys, wonderful demo. womenizer, I know what it means but really .. womenizer. I can't think of a worse name for the product! Yeah I want to have the women pedal. It is a marketing blunder. It is a bad name for a good product. I guess it sound stupid but in the market that this pedal competes in "womenizer" Is goof. How about the rocknator or the classic or anything but "SUE" I still like the pedal. However guys young and old I think will not like the name and maybe not give the pedal a look.

@beabbong I have the Solid Metal, bought off Ebay. I love it! Warm, natural distortion with many degrees of tone available. I have tried many cheaper pedals and none compare to this one. BTW none of these DC tube pedals (6) are available new, but can occasionally be found on Ebay for $150-250.

seriously,, nuclear territory?? I haven't heard anything a ds-1 can't do, I wanted this pedal to be great,, there was one on my local c.l for cheap. Does sound good but I've heard better for cheaper. Credit to the guy demoing pedal
