This was for my physics class -- the teacher had us make an instrument that could play a scale. The final product had some additions, but this is one octave. I'm pretty happy with it.

By the way, it's made out of rubber bands, duct tape, and a picture frame we had in a cupboard.

  • @xxrenreexx I did this weird knot thing where all the duct tape is so I could adjust how taut the rubber bands were, and then I compared the notes to a piano to make sure they were right. When they were where I wanted them I duct taped them down at that level of tautness.

    I don't remember exactly how I did it or how I kept them in place. Thinking back on it it seems pretty hard. I may have tied them around the picture frame again or something.
