I'd prefer Sturridge aswell, but lets be realistic, who would you rather sign, Erdinc for 6-8 million on around 35k aweek, or Sturridge for 20m and 60k a week?

Sturridge like 95% of English players is over rated.

Erdinc is my choice.

@IkilledKenny01 No its not mate.Your half right. basically if Erdinc stays he triggers a loyalty payment from PSG. Which his agent takes a chunk of. And the agent wants NUFc to pay that too Erdinc and him, as they are effectively stopping that payment from happening. But Newcastle, rightly. Are having none of it. But now PSG are after 2 MORE strikers. Erdinc pretty much cannot stay... so he should hopefully join us. So long as Spurs dont come in for him. But if they do we would get Defoe, :)

@alexNUFCtelford You like pretty much all the other people commenting have not watched the full 90 minute games with Sturridge for Bolton last season. He isnt that good. Bolton dont want him. Not even on loan. He scored but he didnt complement the team, and has awful hold up play.

Secondly, I lived in France for a year when i was 20 near Lille. And saw Cabaye alot, and he is beast. And I saw the Lille PSG game and Erdinc looked very sharp.
