  • Man, Fender1980, I really appreciate this piece of vintage americana. This has that late 60's early 70's feel to it. This song could have easily made onto RUFUS' debut album. I love RUFUS and always will. Paulette McWilliams is that CHICK!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the comments. They will be seen by a few of the guys.

More Rufus songs to follow soon!

  • american breed became rufus right?

  • Al Ciner is THE MOST underrated soul and funk guitarist... he seems to get

no recognition.....he laid the groundwork for Tony Maidan.....

  • I saw this band live a bunch of times in Chicago, and they smoked, The band had three lead vocalists--Paulette McWilliams, Chuck Colbert (American Breed) and Jimmy Stella. This pic sleeve is rare, and shows Willie Weeks who played bass with Rufus for a short period of time, but long enough to be on the sleeve

  • wow this is before Chaka!!!
