Produced by Chicago Reader and directed by Ky Dickens, Bacon Noir stars Baconfest Chicago chefs Stephanie Izard (Girl and the Goat), Rick Gresh (David Burke's Primehouse), Patrick Sheerin (The Signature Room), and Chris Pandel (The Bristol), with larger-than-life Bacon Prophet played by Second City writer and performer Tim Mason! Also featured in this tribute to the grit and belly of Chicago's urban landscape is Hey Champ's Singer/Guitarist, Saam Hagshenas, and street artist CZR PRZ.. Bacon Noir was created as a promotional video for Baconfest 2011. Baconfest is a full day celebration of bacon. Baconfest's roster of bacon-foods, bacon-inspired
crafts, and bacon-spirits comprises the greatest single culinary and cultural festival ever dedicated to Bacon and Bacon only.
