Well done, Ian. Thank you for putting a human face on how we flight attendants have collectively suffered, while the executives have only benefitted. I really appreciated that you explained from such a personal point of view, what this has done to your family. I wonder if this presentation had any impact whatsoever on the board members. We have all been going broke for 6 years, LONG before the rest of America has been hit with the recession. Wise UP board members.

wow!!! I am a FA for AA @ IMA and what he is saying in the vid. it's totally true.

I remember when I was 18 and thought the world should be fair. AMR is a corporation thus has responsibility to the share holders only. It is naive to consider a corporation to have morals or ethics. Human beings and higher animals have morals and ethics. Corporations do not, AMR does not. Individuals get what we have because we fight and sometimes die for it. Many others have gone to jail and beyond for the workers rights some of us have today. Remember that on this memorial day weekend.

How sad but true our children have had to suffer while AMR upper management are STILL taking their bonuses. They should not be allowed any bonus if the airline is doing so poor that we can not have our pay returned to us...They are living high on the hog with their millions in bonuses we are wroking more hours, second jobs and now sending our kids to work. How pathetic. I want my money back that I gave up for this company to stay out of BK court! We should have let them sink, they drown us.

This took amazing courage for this sincere and beautiful 18 year old young man. Your parents have raised an outstanding person in you Ian. Thanks. IMA f/a 26 years. HMN

I am almost in the same boat.
"The Board" doesnt care! They are haves, we are have nots. They keep what they have and try to get more. That is the American Way.

None of what this kid is saying is anything new to labor relations at AA. They've always hated the front line employees and looked at them as a thorn on their side. FA's give and the company takes. They have a history and a pattern and jipping you guys. What makes you think this time around is any different?
