Euthanasia debate flares up in Europe

Euthanasia is still banned in most EU countries, but is now legal in Holland and Belgium. However, legalization seems to have brought problems with how to enforce the right to die.

euthanasia for me is good as long as there is guidelines to approve euthanizing a patient. i cant stand to see a terminally ill person who suffers severe pain, easy death is a gift to this people, to those anti there, if you are terminally ill did your conscience accept that you also put your family in death row because they are hoping that you will be revived in your condition by giving medical attention?

I remember when my grandpa had late-stage lung cancer (don't remember the specific name) and he was very sick and he couldn't eat or walk and was always in horrible pain. They instead just pumped him full of narcotics for a month even though he just wanted to hurry up and leave the world peacefully.

As long as it's not given to people that don't have depression and are living in severe pain then of course euthanasia would be acceptable with patient consent.
