Is there more than one Gion Kouta because you see other dances by maiko with this same music? I'm confused!

Each hana-machi has its own dance moves that vary for this dance, t will also vary if there is more then one doing the dance, but ultimatly they are all the same. Also, different clips show different parts of the dance, that is why I wanted to uplaod the complete dance.

Iki! Miehina-san must have been a very accomplished maiko - I've watched some other dances to this on youtube and she's the one that speaks most to me! And I love that kimono... not just the color, but the way her furisode swings. Wow. And is that more of a western motif? Maybe it was chosen with the venue in mind... What district is she from? Is it the custom there to move towards whiter and whiter collars until the erikae? Hers is pretty darn white.

What an enchanting performance! Miehina is the best dancer I've seen. Every move is so smooth and graceful. I also love how the dance was slower than usually. It suits her and allows the moves to be performed with more emotion. 5 stars for the beutiful new geiko!
