I also like the cordless mouse, buuuut......when my toddler took off with it and took it for a swim in the toilet...........it wasn 't so crash hot then......lol. back to a corded rodent for a while.

Hey I have a cordless, I've put an old armchair to replace my pc chair (bloody youtube lol) and my keyboard sits on my lap!! and its never missed a beat yet!! I do miss the ergonomic type one you showed there though.......sigh. Wonder if they do those in cordless????

Ah Mr DK its good to see you vlog regardless of whether you have something to talk about or not, but you did have something to vlog about and that made it even better the only reason id want t a cordless keyboard is if i wanted to type away from my computer like maybe at the duck pond.

I can't think of a good reason for a cordless keyboard or mouse. Only bad. I imagine early one morning in an emergency the batteries running out, So ill stick with my non obtrusive cords :)

archaic.
i also have one, though.

i have a laptop.
so my keyboard has no cords.

Im a cordless fan
less cords = less clutter!
However mine tended to end up laying around places and was inevitably covered in a beverage! So again I live with the corded clutter :(
Haha, I can agree friend, that style of keyboard I do not fancy either. I have tried it, as well as my brother, who got his, aimed it at my computer, and tried to write up some stupid sentences to my friends (pity that only half the keys work).
As for some wacky inventions out there, what do you think of these ones that I thought of?
-Screen doors on a submarine
-Upward ejector seats on a helicopter

The only thing I can think of is if you like putting your feet up on the desk (like I do), you can move around your keyboard without worrying about a cord. But if the wireless(ness) causes the keyboard not to work well its not a very good tradeoff.
A wireless mouse is nice though. Especially if you have a lot of crap on your desk.

I agree abou the mouse. The trade off being that I can never find my mouse under all the junk. lol

I like even more portabilty... I only have laptops. ;-) I think original point of cordless keyboards was when dvd players were mainly attached to computers and it was nice to be able to use the keyboard as a remote control.

I'm afraid my laptop doesn't have much use left. It's a Toshiba Satellite from 1999 and it has an US keyboard. Mostly, it just gathers dust.
