hey how do you guys mic your djembe? I leading worship at an even I am trying to figure out how to mic our djembe. Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated

@awakestudentmin For this video I was only using an OH mic (AKG 414). For performance or studio you can try setting 2 mics - 1 dynamic near field and 1 condenser far field - or even have a mic at the bottom for the lows if your djembe is elevated.

@TheAxcid welcome :) about 4 years, not very long. i play the drums, so what i did was apply the kit knowledge onto the djembe. it's not trad or authentic but more for today's and worship music, just in case you're looking to learn trad stuff.
