man this brings back memories. I met a guy on an old airstrip who made one of these out of steel gatorade cans(they were steel then) and ductape. Five cans long. He put the tennis ball a hole in the bottom and 3-4 drops of lighter fluid, rolled it around to let it evap, then lit it with a lighter. It made a THOOOMMM sound and shot the ball about 50-60 feet in the air.
