This is not the most exciting flight, but I still love this view of the 70" Slick. The lighting was also really nice. Having the GoPro Hero Camera on the wing does really screw up the aerodynamics as I had to add 10 clicks of aileron trim and 3 clicks of both elevator and rudder to get it to fly straight. That in turn jacked up all of the knife edge mixes. My favorite part of the video is the "blender" that I start at about 4:05 in the video. It really shows you how much force is put on the plane doing this maneuver. The camera has a pivot hinge that is tightened down with a thumb screw. I had that screw down as hard as I could and could barely move the hing with my hands. But the blender snapped the camera back like it was nothing. Pretty cool.

  • No, but I had to do a lot of trimming. As much for the drag in the airflow as for the lateral balance. If I remember right it was something like 12 clicks of aileron and a few clicks of elevator.
