I suppose what I lacks in suspension travel it *sorta* makes up for with limited slip axles. My stock ranger would make it up that rock in 2wd simply becuase all 4 wheels would stay on the ground....

@JeepGCOverland47 I dunno. I know a lot of people who would say the same, but this vid shows that there's a lot of potential in this little dude. Hey, nobody liked the original GPV when it did the Army trials back in 1940, but they said "what the hell" and look what happened with that.

We pay about $8 a gallon here in the UK.had to go for a something more economical

I'm a GC owner myself, but considering the price, gas mileage and off-road performance, the Patriot is a good buy in my opinion. That 4.7 H.O. is definitely killing you at the pump.
