The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundations flagship fundraiser will be held once again in beautiful southern middle Tennessee. Hunters from all over the volunteer state flock to Pulaski each Spring to join in on this exciting hunt. The Counties of Giles, Lincoln, Lawrence, Marshall, and Maury host some of the highest turkey populations in the state. With the help of experienced local guides, 75 hunters will try their luck at a great Tennessee tradition once again this year.
There are many other community events associated with the hunt. Pulaskis square will be home to the Gobblers Gala, where arts and crafts, TWRA booths, games, calling contests, turkey check-in, live entertainment, and many other things will be happening. On Friday before the hunt there will be clay target shooting and demonstrations at the Wakefield Trap Range. There will be a huge banquet and concert event on Saturday night at Cardin Distributing in Pulaski, where up to 800 people will eat great local food, and hear some of Nashvilles best entertainers, including Daryle Singletary. Its an event you wont want to miss. To find out more, visit www.twrf.net, and look for the turkey hunt under the events tab. Happy Huntin'!
