IRAN SIGNED the NPT(Nuclear nonProliferation Treaty), IRAN JOINED the IAEA(International Atomic Energy Agency), ALLOWS IAEA inspectors to their facilities, IRAN did NOT Invade ANYONE, IRAN doesn't have any nukes.

ISRAEL REFUSED to sign the NPT, ISRAEL REFUSED JOIN the IAEA, REFUSED to allow IAEA inspectors to their Secret Illegal Nuclear Facilities, ISRAEL invaded all of their neighbors, openly commits genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians & ISRAEL has hundreds of Nukes.

I love Iran... but sorry, Ahmadinejad is a big camel. No one could be human when you would use nuclear energy for war, when you can conquer much more power peacefully without violence, by breaking the uranium rods with pressurized water and then using energy for clean electricity? Or stimulating physics to alterate wavefuncions to create teleporters? The chances are infinity! I know Mr. Ahmadinejad is formed in engineery but no one could be human with that. Fear of self-destruction is definitely what kept the soviet union from using any nuclear weapons, but I'm not sure if we can count on that in the middle east. The ideology of martyrdom does not fear self-destruction. (Of course, most middle-easterners are not terrorists, but the ideology does have far too much influence there.)

Nuking Israel would be stupid and self-destructive in the extreme. Radiation etc would hit neighboring countries and they, with the US, would destroy Iran. Nobody much likes Ahmedinejad (incl Iranians: ~20% domestic approval rating) but nobody thinks he's actually insane.

However, nuclear weapons are not at all insane when it comes to self-defense. When the US threatens Iran, we ENCOURAGE them to go nuclear. It's obvious to everyone that North Korea's fate is preferable to Iraq's. Duh!
