If this type of dog was banned in the country the person was living in then why did the person get this type of dog? Why did this person break the law? Sounds to me like this person was breaking the law and got caught.

This is truly a god awful story and it makes me ashamed to say that I'm British.

I came to this story late, but I've signed the petition and stuck the story on the front page of my blog, (which is about keeping pet hedgehogs as pets normally :o) The site only gets about 4000 a month but every little helps.

If the owner cared so much about this dog why didn't they bother turning up to most of the court dates to try and save it?

Punish the deed no the breed indeed, but some people make it harder for those of us that truly care about dog welfare.

There will be yet another appeal for Bruce, the date will be set soon. So please keep cross posting his petition & spreading the word for him.
The public pressure is what's needed to see this lovely boy returned to his family. :)

BANNED OR NOT BANNED GIVE BRUCE BACK How can they live with them selves taking bruce from a loving home and treating him like that wheres the RSPCA if it was us we would be banned from having a dog

its the uspca here and they don't give a fuck about animals welfare they care about thir bank balance charity my arse. I wonder where all their money goes it isn't on the animals in theyre care i regularly visit kennels and dog pounds here and theyre all a disgrace really apart from assisi and the dogs trust. Lets not forget it was the head of the RSPCA that approved and indeed recommended the current dog laws he doesn't care for animals. They'll pry my dogs from my cold dead hands

I have signed the petition and added this link to my face book page. if eveyone does this it may help. I can not belive the state that the council have allowed this dog to get in. would they do this to a family member??NO so why do it to this family member.
