On this Holiday weekend.. had a chance to tour the battleship Texas..and San Jacinto monument I actually got to hang out .. " In the engine room " and and the Boiler room .. I kept humming and ...no -one was getting where I come from !! God Bless You MIKE WATT . Hat's off to your Father ! and thanks for putting this experience to song and pen ..

The old Doll Hut! Man, the good old days. I somehow managed to miss this show. Saw so many good ones there though. I remember The Ziggens used to play there a lot. They were fun. Wonder if they're still around?

Nels Cline rules my world. First guitarist I've ever heard whose playing isn't immediately and obviously influenced by Hendrix. Fucking mindblowing. Meanwhile, big thanks to Mike Watt for "Contemplating the Engine Room." That album changed my life.
