Stay strong. My father has had chrons for over 15 years now. He has lost all his intestine and his ass. He now has to shit in a bag attached to his stomach. I know this disease and what it can do to you and your family. I myself am a kidney dialysis patient and a medical marijuana patient. I am being denied a spot on the transplant list because of my medical marijuana recommendation. We need to end the fruitless and hurtful FAILED "war on drugs" NOW! Vote compassion please!

Hey IndicaGreenly I really do feel for you. I can see you are not well in this, I can relate to it so much it makes me sad to see you there. I would gladly share a bud with you and wish the situation was different with the plant that can help us, at least with appetite and in my case, it makes me feel better in pain than pain without being stoned.I know what I mean! I'd rather be stoned and in pain than just in horrible pain. Not to mention the weak, drained, deathly feeling of some crohns days.

Most of the studies on Crohn's are funded by drug companies. They would like you to believe that the drugs will help your symptoms. The few independant studies relating the cause of Crohn's and many other auto-immune diseases to food additives were shot down by the FDA. The FDA was quoted as saying "If we took away food additives, we'd hardly have any food". Um..no, we would have all organic food. Food additives began being added to food in the 1890's, Crohn's was first documented in the 1920's.

Is a generic Phenegran not helpful for you? I dunno how much it costs, and some meds don't work for everyone. I'm lucky enough that Pentasa and Entocort work well for me.

I've been off all steroids,shots,remicade, anti diarheals, purinethol,etc.. it's about having the right strain with crohn's some cannabis has no cbd in it. and cbd is the best safest anti-inflammatory , predominitely in indica-afghanica strains if you can't get this you only help you're appetite and deppression with a mainly sativa strain, get a good hybrid of both and you're cured.

Oh man I feel sorry for you. I Have crohn's too and used to be on those useless steroids and cancer drugs but now I'm on Remicade and (virtually) symptom free. I still get occasional abdominal pain but marijuana works really well on it.

amazing. should be in shops like beer. regulate it with age restrictions and id checks. it should be medically available for free on the nhs (in england). i have had crohns for 7 years and i just wish people would accept that this god given right is being depraved of fulfilling its duty. i hear and feel everything you wrote here. sativa like with a fruity taste to lift you up and give you the energy to work through the day and fulfil responsibilities you have to deal with in every day life.
