Bastion + Portal - The Gel Cannister

A viscous substance of unknown origin, contained in a scientific apparatus. It's probably not a problem, probably. Might as well smash it open and see what happens.

The most fun I've had with an Easter egg in a while. Not a bad skill either, at least with idols turned off.

As for how to get this, it was in the Arsenal, under the skills menu when I started my New Game+. I assume all you have to do is start a New Game+. I do own Portal and Portal 2, although I doubt they would make this exclusive to owners of those games. It is, however, exclusive to the Steam version of Bastion. I know it looks like I'm on the Xbox if you look at the HUD, but I'm just using an Xbox controller to play.

They should really go ahead and update this for xbox. Maybe make it so only people who have a Portal or Portal 2 save file can obtain one.

Too bad this game isn't exactly new, so they have no reason to bother now that the appeal is gone.

They are sort of broken in Who Knows Where, though, since you can make a small army of them.

I don't think they're that bad. From watching this video and using them myself it seems they only shoot at guys within a 90 degree area in front of them, so you need multiple ones to be truly effective, plus they're stationary so once an area is clear of enemies they become useless.

From what I read, it's a new game plus item, and new game plus items tend to be such (good examples being the ones from Resident Evil 4).

To be fair, your foes can still smash the turrets to pieces. Thankfully they don't just knock them over.
