Any new news? How is the riverfront faring? The bed and breakfast? The Hollywood Museum? I've been searching on-line but it's so hard to find anything on Metropolis.

@termede The river is coming up, bed and breakfast probably has a wet basement. Hollywood Museum is dry. I have been posting atleast 1 new video a day of local conditions check out my youtube channel youtube.com/user/brettfiles

Will keep you in our thoughts! At one point hubby and I seriously thought about buying that gorgeous white Victorian house on 3rd St. which I see from your video is about a block from the flooding right now. Will continue to pray for you all!

@termede The house your referring to on 3rd and Metropolis street is high and dry and I'm pretty sure it was also dry in the 1937 flood. We got another 2 feet of river coming our way in the next few days.

Thank you so much for posting this! Hubby and I are huge Metropolis fans and were scheduled to go up for our anniversary May 18th and also for the Superman Celebration, which we never miss. I've been sort of obsessed with wondering what's happening there. My heart is in my throat as I see some of our favorite places like the Summers Bed & Breakfast so close to the water.

@termede Thank you for your comments, I live in Metropolis and this current flood of the Ohio River has had me very concerned. The river is currently projected to rise 3 more feet, keep us in your thoughts.
