This is my take on Grant Green's tasty Jazz style. Recorded this in one take using Presonus Audiobox and Studio One Artist. I was trying to capture as much nuance as i could considering what an emotional player he was. I'm no where near as creative as he was with the single notes but not to bad with the cord progressions. If any bass players care to add to the track I would love to hear it. Thanks for listening. Erik

  • Idiomatically spot-on, I think, but it does remind me why I don't like Grant Green's playing. If you like Grant Green I imagine you'd love this, but I don't, so I don't understand why you wanted to do it. But it's still very reminiscent of the man himself.

  • really great! grant green is my biggest inspiration on the guitar. and i really like your song! keep it up :)
