fun fact: Bruce Lee"s moves were so fast, they had to be played in slow-mo during his fight scenes

Bruce Lee really did pioneer both practicality and style when it came to movie martial arts fights.

I know I'm going to catch shit for this, but I'm too much of a stickler to not point it out - The main reason they had to slow Bruce down is because most films are shot at 24 frames per second, but the human eye is able to register movements at a far greater speed than that. Bruce was definitely one of the fastest there ever was, but he looks a LOT faster on camera because of the way most film cameras operate.

Ok, it's been 40 yrs....why are all fight scenes in movies today still so bad? This should be what use to be, instead its still the standard!!...I have yet to see a more realistic fight scene in a movie since, today they rely on close up scenes and quick edits for stunt doubles, or speed up the camera or slow motion featuring double hits....really, it sucks how actors today are just that, actors and not the real thing! Lee is absolutely amazing!!! So many follow and so many fail, a shame!!

You gotta understand the point was effect in this movie. This is in 1972, action movies didn't really exist(westerns). When Bruce Lee pulled that move Audiences went WILD! Along with the Nunchua. The modern American Action movie was born!!

Bruce Lee is my all-time favorite martial artist, HANDS DOWN! I'm glad to be born under the same Chinese astrology since I was born in 1988, and both of our birthdays are in November. Bruce Lee Forever.

The hypnotic hand movements signified Bruce's knowledge in "Tai Chi", which is the first thing Bruce ever learned, and WHO most believe can be a basis of any marital art bases on the fact the conceptos surrounds patience, calmness, fluidity, relaxation, and freedom of spirit, which are factors Bruce lacked basically from the beginning up to this point of the movie, given his Master was treacherously murdered....
