These are some high dynamic range (HDR) photographs I took while in Kenya and Tanzania on a photo safari. The scenes include a couple from Nairobi, some from a hippopotamus pool in Tanzania, still more from the Lobo Wildlife Lodge in the Serengeti, and some more of rock formations inside that National Park.
For the most part, I used my Canon EOS 5D Mark II SLR with either a Canon L-series 17-40mm wide angle lens or a Canon L-series 100-400mm long zoom. I developed the pictures using Adobe Lightroom 2.5 and Photoshop Elements 7.0. I used Photomatix 3.1 to produce the HDR compositions themselves.
