They played the most bad ass sexy live set of this song I've ever heard from them at NWSS, slightly diff words tho "love the way you operate, LET'S OPERATE!"

Beats me. I used to think he was just no good, ever, and the rest of the band sorta left him behind as they improved. But there are some videos on here from c. 2002 where he's really quite good. Makes me wonder if something happened to the guy.

Yeah dude. Dave can be iffy sometimes. but oh well. And "too late now" gives me chills every time. I cant help but sing my heart out every time I hear it. Soo good

I think that Dave plays much better on c d than live! My wife and I go see them whenever they come to Va it makes me wonder if they use session banjo players when they cut cd's? But when we watched the Telluride videos he sounded pretty good maybe he plays better/worse depending on how stoned he gets?lol I'm pretty sure they were stoned on the telluride video as they were all wearing dark shades and they looked scared stiff.There wasn't a lot of moving around at first! They played "Too late now"
