  • I have CS4 and when I double click on the eye droppers in levels I get the color picker, but it doesn't have numbers or anything to change??

  • When you choose Levels Adj Layer it actually has a separate panel called "Adjustments" If you don't see that panel go to the top menu Window>Adjustments to open it. Double clicking on any of those 3 eyedroppers opens the particular target color picker where there are numbers in fields next to the particular Color Model like R, G, B, L, a, b, C, M, Y, K, or H, S, B. There is also a box for Hex #'s. Make sure the Color Picker says Select target...in upper right of the big Color Picker box.

  • Sorry, upper left of the big box

  • 3X3 is fine, it just averages the color from where you click, as you could happen to click on a single red pixel in the midst of a purple area, so the average will be for those amounts, a 3x3 will look and a 9 pixel grid, a 5x5 a 25 pixel grid, etc.

  • thank you for your tutoriel it is really complete! But what is software that to use you for your video captures of screen? Still thank you for these splendid and useful tutoriel.

  • great tutorial .

    THANKS

  • another great video.

  • I, too am using CS4, I am brand new and have NO IDEA what I am doing. I just watched both parts of this tut and am trying it. When I get to the step of setting the sample size to 5 by 5, I also have several others to choose from, 11 by 11,31 by 31,51 by 51,and 101 by 101. Do I go somewhere in the middle?

  • Where is the hex input, that would speed up things a bit?

  • Unbelievable easy to follow & fun too. Love you're tuts, keep 'em coming.
