    Anyway- I noticed you still have a hell spawn in your Demi-Company for some reason? by this time I would have replaced it with a vulture or another support mech

  • No- I dont think you will- Merc Ally b Only allows 6 mechs on it, I just got the game to install and its awesome! anyway thanks for the videos, and the salvage on Merc Ally B has 100% chance of giving you two heavy mechs if you defeat the Assault Lance

    I like equipping Vultures with 4 packs of Clan Srm6's, and I interestingly enough use innersphere tech instead of clan tech most of the time, because of the extra heat clan weapons generate.

  • I prefer clan weapons to IS because of less weight and bigger range. You can always spend some extra tonnage on heat sinks)

  • I missed like one transport vehicle on this one, apparently, even though I could still see the damn thing. I just had to convince myself that I'd felt bad for them.

  • Can't you use a pillager on one of your vids? Can't see any vids about pillagers in youtube lately.

  • For this mission I like using a Shadowcat because of it's extra large zoom window allows me to scout and snipe the turret control towers so I salvage more weaps. for trade fodder. You really need to then make up for your lighter mech by giving your lancemates all heavies with lots and lots of missiles/ER Large Lasers. Also the speed of the Shadowcat allows you to get to the bonus vehicles and off them from range using ER Large Lasers.

  • Forget lasers and PPC's, gauss and AC20's are the way to go - No heat problems(or heavy heat sinks), and extra damage for the weight... just besure to carry a couple of tonnes extra ammo so you never run out.

    Seems to work perfectly for all missions apart from the end game where you just take too much damage on higher difficulty - so I switch over to Clan LRM 20's and light Gauss for long ranged attacks and let my lancemates take the hits..
