@tkdmaestro that 8-count was done very well by that ref. these are only kids and a hit like that is bad for there learning years. a standing 8-count is given to allow the hurt fighter a choice to fight or quit. also standing 8-counts look cool! watch my series. charles henderson taekwondo series

He was hit, yes, but he didnt go down or anything.

they always do it if peron get kicked and they are lookin bad for few seconds just to make sure he doesnt faint or anythign happens.

Why did she give the kid in blue an 8-count?
Fine, the other kid scored with a great back kick to the face, but "blue" didn't seem fazed or stunned by it.
I thought they only gave an 8-count on a knockdown.
Seems a bit pointless, really.
