I actually feel sorry for Rose. Yes, she's obnoxious, manipulative and slimy, but she gets brainwashed for years, made into an expendable pawn, and generally screwed over. The bit where the demon headmaster says 'you Rose, are a child' hits it home for me. Good acting there. At least she gets some redemption at the end of this series.
