On 25 March 2007, evangelical Christians distributed a new anti-Mormon video to thousands of homes across the United States. Though it purports to be an objective Christian evaluation of the teachings, history, and beliefs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it contains much that is inaccurate and very little that is balanced. Rather than focus on what they believe, the video's producers have taken it upon themselves to describe and interpret LDS beliefs and teachings, often in ways that would be objectionable or unrecognizable to Latter-day Saints. • it is pretty sad how someone can be deceived by such crap this video is so true how can someone base their eternal salvation on someone who is a liar after the bible there was to be nothing else not the BOM the Doctrine an covenants or pearl of great price they are all lies if mormons really want to know the truth get rid of the BOM Doctrines and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price and read the Bible everything you to know to obtain eternal salvation is in there nowhere else!!!

  • @branson2010

"after the bible there was to be nothing else"

And what exactly is the premise on which you base this rather broad conclusion?

And please don't say the book of revelations.

  • @canadianbacon007

i was refering to no other books like the BOM Doctrines and Covenants and Peral of Great Price

  • @branson2010

You refer to it, and that's basically all you have. Vague unsubstantiated references.

  • parents teach their children about santa which is for the benefit of chilldren after a certain age the truth comes out. however, with the gods the lie is handed down from generation to generation & never really questioned for it is based purely on faith (which of course means nothing). Hence, believers (in pseudo gods) cant b told on the contrary (even in this case with scientific evidence that the indians werent of iraeli descent), the truth is overwhelming--its easier to belive in the lies

  • Using the same DNA tests would indeed not be viable since it's been proven that any mishandling or even the age of the sample can mar the results. It would stand to reason that a DNA sample 1,000's of years old wouldn't be 100% reliable for the same reasons.

  • Les are liars Joseph smith was killed by masons and died in a two way gun battle. LOL I'm in slc the Mormon Capitol and watched a movie at the "temple" that was a lie. He is a pervert a racist a liar and evil I'm glad he was shot

  • @pangea7777 It misrepresents science overall, as someone who deals in science, I would ask about the methods, the preceding assumptions, and the measured data? What unique genetic markers are they looking for? Again, no answers.

  • @1980BirdDawg and so are the writers of the Bible, should I see the Ark of the Covenant, the Ten Commandments, and some tangible Garden of Eden to believe the Bible? Or even better, should I accept if someone claims to have found the Holy Grail, accept it as the real McCoy? Or how about the identation in some random mountain to believe in Noah and the Ark?

  • @pepstuge What says any of what you said? Where, dear sirhood, may I find it, including book, page number, and URL if neccessary. You see, I take a look even at sources, and that's how it goes, unless you are worried I might come to different conclusions from reading the same full book, perhaps?

  • @suemorphplus2009 End of the story for you branson, is the fact that there isn't experimental or solid archealogical proof beyond storytelling that anything from it is true. It's just the way that it is. For all I know, the Israelites were just some people who seceded from the Babylonians and made up some great details to make their origins sound better. But I don't, however, I do believe that those events happened, but it's only by my honest faith and prayer that I can believe the Bible.

  • @branson2010 Yeah, the Bible has about plenty of things I would like to see for myself as proof that they existed. Hmmm... where's the Ark of the Covenant, the Stone Tablets with the Ten Commandments, or the Tomb of Jesus Christ? We don't know, and we can't prove them. Where's the massive ecological footprint made by thousands of prople walking around between Egypt and Israel for decades? Can we prove that a person can get mana from heaven by asking God?
